Fangirls, I wanted this to be good, but since it’s associated with Cinderella, it turned out nastily.
Maybe you can try it and make it better? I used:
1 oz Heritage Hills Pumpkin Spice Liqueur
.25 oz Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey
2 cups milk
1 egg
Sprinkled Cinnamon on top
Boil the 2 cups of milk while whisking the other ingredients together in a bowl. Once the milk is boiling, combine everything in a heat proof mug. Try it? Maybe it’s as gross as it sounds and Cinderella? Throw it out and drink eggnog from the store instead.
I’m not trying to be a jerk, Fangirls, but this was disgusting. I got a similar recipe from thebar.com, and I’m really regretting it. I had 2 sips (one to taste it and a second to verify that it was awful), before I tossed it down the drain and did the dishes. And you know, I really wanted it to be good. I like eggnog, even though it’s weird and its egg that you drink. But not this eggnog.
If you’re brave, you’re welcome to try it. If you’ve got better recipes, please tell me and I will try to make an eggnog that doesn’t taste as bad as Cinderella’s dress looks.
